Should be an interesting read too. From the author of "This Band Could Be Your Life", which was a great and looking to a release date early next year, Bob looks to give the history of the groundbreaking band, his life in the scene, as well as his personal story of Bob the man the myth the legend. I am looking forward to this one. I feel like I grew up with the Huskers and Bob. New Day Rising, Metal Circus and Zen were my personal soundtrack for the 80's. Bob's music brought a much needed sensitivity and balance to the punk and hardcore scene that was heavy into macho posturing and conformity at the time.
I got to see the Huskers on their Warehouse tour in '85. Me and Bebo (a/k/a "The Pigman") loaded into my old Chevette and road tripped it to Bogarts in Cincinnati. It was an experience I will long remember. Bob has created a wealth of music with Husker Du, Sugar, and as a solo artist. This book will be a must read for geriatric punks like myself.
