The Smart Car Raffle is the first of many initiatives that the Board of Directors will use to meet the challenge grant offered by the Paul Ogle Foundation. The Board is embarking on a Capital Campaign—Phase I with a goal of $1,000,000.00 to be raised by December 31, 2009.
Now the Smart Car is an underachiever in my humble opinion, at only 41mpg, but you could easily hypermile your way past 50 mpg and beyond. I applaud the museum for being forward thinking and environmentally aware!
