Just got back from Milwaukee area, and read an interesting article in the Journal Sentinal. It stated the fact that Obama is out-fundraising McCain in the Republican suburbs west of Milwaukee. Wisconsin is generally a liberal/progressive state, especially Madison, but the Milwaukee suburbs such as Waukesha and the like are usually strongly Republican. The last time a Democrat carried this area was in 1964 for LBJ.
Is this a trend elsewhere? We can only hope. People are ready for something different.
