Boy am I cynical. I always thought the our invasion of Iraq was about oil and some vague neocon agenda. Not at all. Not according to VP candidate Sarah Palin. No, we are on a mission from God. Much like Jake and Elwood Blues all those years ago. In a speech to ministry students in Alaska, Ms. Palin described our role as being "on a mission from God." As Aretha Franklin would have told her, "Don't go blaspheming in here..." God help save us from this wack job of a candidate.
