If you long for the days of garage bands who rock with unpolished abandon, you owe it to yourself to check out Two Cow Garage. From PunkNews.org, "The group was formed in September 2001 by singer/guitarist Micah Schnabel, who began playing with drummer Dustin Harigle in and around Columbus. Guitarist Chris Flint joined the group after seeing one of their early shows, and bassist Shane Sweeney followed soon after. The group released its first album in 2002 and embarked on a near-constant nationwide U.S. tour, clocking over 300,000 miles on their tour bus."
I heard some buzz, and did some research on them. I like what I hear. Sounds like a mix of alt-country, cow punk and good old fashioned rock and roll. I have included a link below for some free mp3's of the Garage and other mostly indie and alt-country tracks. I like the other band on there too, Drag the River. The Fest down in Florida is coming up very soon and Suburban Homes Records has put out a nice sampler of their bands involved in the shows. Enjoy!
